Professional Genealogy Homework

I have a new philosophy when it comes to homework assignments (If any teachers are reading this, please take note).

If it's too big to be stapled, it's too big.

If it's too big to be paperclipped, it's too big.

If it's so big you have to put it in a giant manila envelope, it's TOO BIG.

Any guesses what I've been up to all day?

Maybe Jordan's power staple gun would have done the trick. But I guess you probably didn't want the copy permanently stapeled to your desk, huh?

Yeah, that and the fact that my teacher won't accept ANY homework that is stapled, paperclipped, in a clear plastic binder, etc. It HAS to be in a LARGE manila folder. Not to be picky or anything . . .

Ha ha! I think a lot of genealogy (had to respell that word like three times to get it right) folks are big on paper copies of EVERYTHING. Different era, right? Maybe you could turn your homework in in a crate, and they might get the idea. Ask her if she'd like to borrow your USB.

When you're working on Criddle genealogy (or Wilson), no amount is too big -- and I'll offer my industrial-strength stapler to keep all that good stuff together. Nice work! I love having someone around who really knows what they are doing on all this stuff--a personal consultant. :) --Mom

I have to disagree a little bit, there is a strong sense of satisfaction that comes from asking the librarian to use the 50-100 page stapler, then stapling your assignment together and looking to see if anyone noticed that you had to use the high powered stapler. Is it vain? perhaps, but satisfying nonetheless.
