I thought the ice-cream tradition was pretty well-known at BYU. My readers have proved otherwise (either that or the majority of them have been out of the dating pool for too long now . . .)
At any rate, I add clarification for any confused readers (lest I once again fail in my communication skills).
At BYU a popular tradition abounds concerning dating and the moving of stages in dating:
1. If you hold hands with someone, you owe your roomates M&Ms
2. If you kiss someone, you owe your roomates ice cream
3. If you get engaged, you owe your roomates a steak dinner (Note: I have never had a roomate actually pay up on this one. Nor have I heard of anyone's roomates ever paying up on this one. Maybe it's a dead tradition. And I don't really like steak anyway, so I guess it doesn't really matter.)
Draw whatever conclusions you may about the below post.
P.S. I apologize for such a short post. Rest assured, a new post will be soon to follow (if I ever make it through all my tests and projects!) And it's going to be dang funny.
