Mom, close your eyes. And keep them shut!
Okay, now that I've got that out of the way, want to see why I haven't been blogging lately:
In case you couldn't make out this picture, I'll explain. I'm a newlywed. With a super messy apartment.
Translation: If you come to visit in during the next week or so, be prepared to help me organize! (Or to be shuffled off to the lobby where you can't see the disaster area.)
Believe it or not, this picture was actually taken after several days of hard work organizing and cleaning. And it will be followed by many more days of organizing and cleaning.
Oh well. At least we decided which of the three glasses sets we wanted.
Now if we can just figure out which of the six pyrex sets to keep . . .

I see hangers...with clothes ON them. A step in the right direction! Having been with you as we unloaded more gifts yesterday, I CAN appreciate the progress. Way to go (even if there's a ways to go)!
If you need to unload any presents, I can take some off your hands. Seriously though, keep them for re-gifts. You'll be set for around 3 years at least. We still have a few re-gifts for upcoming weddings.
Or you can just regift them to me. I can relate. We got married between semesters then plunged right back in to school, so our apartment was a mess for sooo long! Good luck!
Wooeee! At least you have furniture to store stuff on--you never knew that's what it was for, did you? :) Keep all the presents (regifting is the way to go, for sure)
I want Kim to have me for Christmas. I'm running low on pyrex.
ha! we're still cleaning up, it seems. you can do it! it's so fun to finally have a place of your own though. enjoy the freedom!! (of an eighth of a closet...)
